Is a 54-day cycle normal?

A 54-day cycle means roughly 6.8 cycles a year. It is well beyond the 21-to-35-day range usually described as typical, and comfortably inside what guidelines call infrequent cycles (oligomenorrhoea) — a pattern that, alongside other signs, GPs take seriously when considering PCOS and other causes.
